What's this I hear?
Ol' girl from the deep South is running around, putting her charcoal fingerprints on everything.
The Driftwood Artwork Company is the studio of Alabama-native Allison Leah Thompson, a charcoal and wood artist known for her unique technique and large-scale, vibrant portraiture.
The nomadic artist currently roams throughout the nation in Driftwood's Mobile Art Studio, "Lupine", selling flowers and exhibiting artworks. The studio occasionally takes collections across the country on exhibition tour circuits.

Our
Technique
The artist utilizes wood as a canvas, with the choice of wood type dependent on the piece. Charcoal pencil then used occasionally in tandem with paint to capture intimate details and provide a unique level of depth to her work.
She finds joy in experience and a muse in movement through the world; so much to see, so much to create, so much to be.
